37 weeks, 2 days

Sorry, son, if you can feel my anxiety.

The city of Fargo is working around the clock to minimize any possible flood damages. The university has canceled classes so students can help fill sandbags. The paper says the city will need at least 2 million sandbags in the next few days. The rain hasn't stopped and looks like it will continue through the next few days. It's scary to face such a slow impending doom. The good news is that our home *should* be safe. I'm hoping the rest of the community has minimal damage.

The river is almost touching the bridge.

Loading up earth for sandbags.
Clay dike being constructed.
Still not enough sandbags.

P.S. If you want to come next week, that's fine with me.

I would totally love to come next week. And I wish I was around Fargo so I could sandbag. But alas I don't think I will make it for either. That first bridge picture. What bridge is that?
