Birthday inspirations
I am so excited for Luke's first birthday. We've talked about doing Elmo or Curious George, but I am thinking Curious George would be a lot of fun! Here's some pics so far of what I would like to put together:

I want to use this cupcake color combo, too! Cupcakes would be for guests.
Collapsible cupcake stand: $20 from Target
Red, blue, and yellow balloons, streamers, napkins. Curious George plates and cups.
Runts in clear pillow boxes or palm tree favor boxes. $3.99 for 12 at Oriental Trading Co.
Smash cake: something similar to this cake with a numeral one candle on it.
To eat: fresh fruit, chips, vegetable platter, some type of hotdish, punch. Hmm, maybe some "monkey" chow?
